The Hon Ian Macfarlane MP, Minister for Industry, led the largest ever Australian skills delegation of over 100 representatives from across the industry and training sector to India to attend the third India Australia Skills Conference in Mumbai, India, on 11 November 2014.

Indian scientists build connections with Australia

From 14-18 October 2013, 16 scientists from India travelled to Australia to experience science in Australia first hand. During the visit delegates met with representatives from government agencies and universities, and toured key scientific infrastructure in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

Science delegation visits India

A senior departmental delegation, led by Deputy Secretary Sue Weston and including Anne Baly, Head of the International Education and Science Division visited India to attend the annual meetings of the Indo-Australian Joint Science and Technology Committee (JSTC) and Joint Biotechnology Committee (JBC) in New Delhi on 6 and 7 August 2013.

Indian Education Minister visits Australia

From 10 to 12 July, a delegation led by the Indian Education Minister the Hon Dr Pallam Raju, Minister of Human Resource Development, visited Australia to participate in the Annual Education Ministers’ Dialogue on Education Cooperation.
