Revised Code of Practices for Open and Distance Learning – COPODL
Circular MQA No 02/2012
 
The Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) recently announced the revised guideline for the Code of Practices for Open and Distance Learning for higher education providers. MQA use the code as an evaluation tool and it serves as guideline to higher education providers in implementing practices related to the management of ODL programmes in their respective institutions. It is applicable to all higher education providers in their submission for temporary accreditation and detailed accreditation. The Code of Practices for ODL is supported by Code of Practice for Program Accreditation and Code of Practice for Institutional Audit and also subject to the Malaysian Qualifications framework. COPODL takes effect on 1st December 2012 for new applications and 1st June 2013 for existing programs currently being evaluated.

With enforcement of Circular MQA No 2/2012, Code of Practices for Open and Distance Learning ODL MQA No 1/2012 is invalid.
