27 November 2011
Guidelines and applications are now open for the 2012 round of EU/Australia joint mobility and joint degree projects. These projects comprise consortiums of Australian and EU universities or vocational education and training institutions offering students the chance to study overseas in either the EU or Australia.
The 2012 round offers opportunities for study in the EU through both joint or double degree projects as well as joint mobility projects.
Joint degree projects
Joint degree projects are open to degree awarding institutions. They aim to develop deeper long-term linkages between Australia and the EU through the awarding of joint (or double) degrees. A joint or double degree project leads to the awarding of two separate degrees (double degree) or a single degree (joint degree) by the participating EU and Australian institutions. More information on joint degrees is available in the guidelines.
Joint mobility projects
Joint Mobility projects are open to vocational education and training (VET) institutions. They last for three years and provide support for Australian students to undertake study at a partner institution in Europe for a maximum of one semester. Funding support for mobility is also available for academic and administrative staff involved with the project. The previous seven rounds have comprised 21 mobility projects.
