Global Partnership for Education

Page Content

18 December 2017

The department’s acting Education and Science Counsellor to Tokyo, Ms Jodie Stuart, and Senior Education Manager, Ms Kumiko Tsukamoto provided expert advice and support to the Chair of the Global Partnership for Education, the Hon Julia Gillard, during an official visit to Japan.

A high profile dinner hosted by Ms Clare Walsh, Minister and Deputy Head of Mission in honour of Ms Gillard and attended by senior academics and government officials afforded an opportunity to share views and exchange information on important issues such as higher education, international education and gender issues.

Global Partnership for Education is dedicated to expanding access and quality of education worldwide.
