New quality ratings system for Malaysian colleges

Page Content
24 November 2011

The Ministry of Higher Education recently released the results of its quality evaluation of private colleges in Malaysia. Private colleges were evaluated on students, resources, quality management systems, program recognition and graduate recognition. It is aimed to be a guide for parents and students in choosing programs and colleges. While the rating does not include all Malaysian private colleges at this point in time, Australian education institutions partnered with Malaysian private colleges or looking for such partners, may find the guide of interest.  AEI expects over time that the ratings will inform the regulatory audit processes of the Education Department.
