The Connecting Australian-European Science and Innovation Excellence (CAESIE) initiative, aimed at enhancing science and technology collaborations between small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and researchers in Europe and Australia, opened a call in July for applications for Stage One Priming Grants. The call, which will be open until 11 October 2013, is designed to facilitate initial meetings between SMEs and researchers and research organisations by offering $5,000 to eligible SMEs.
