The Australia-China Council Grant Program 2013-14 – Grants to strengthen the bilateral relationship

The Australia-China Council 2013-2014 Grant Round (Expression of Interest stage) will open on Monday, 18 February, 2013 and close on Sunday, 17 March 2013 (Midnight, End of Day AEST).
Through the annual competitive grants program, the Australia-China Council supports projects across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and Australia that deliver tangible outcomes for Australia-China relations in the priority areas of Economics and Trade, Society and Culture and Education and Science, in line with the Council’s Strategic Plan 2011-14 and recommendations of the Australia in the Asian Century White Paper.   The Australia-China Council grants are intended to provide seed funds for innovative proposals relevant to the mission and goals of the Council and broader national priorities for engagement with China.  This includes proposals which demonstrate the potential for the development of long-term links between individuals and institutions in Australia and counterparts throughout China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
