Minister for Education and Training, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP, has
announced the opening of applications for the 2016 round of the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships.
Every year the internationally competitive programme offers scholarships and fellowships to support Australians and citizens from overseas to undertake postgraduate study, research or professional development in another country.
The programme includes the Endeavour Research Fellowship for Indigenous Australians which provides financial support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to undertake short-term research overseas towards an Australian Masters, PhD or post-doctoral research in any field.
Applications for the 2016 Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships round close on 30 June 2015.
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships aim to build Australia’s reputation for excellence in the provision of education and research, support the internationalisation of the Australian higher education and research sectors and offer high-achieving individuals from overseas and Australia opportunities to increase their productivity and expertise in their field.
