The Association of Commonwealth Universities

Fully-funded Commonwealth Master's Scholarships in 8 different countries are now open for application. The scholarships are tenable at selection institutions in Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, Pakistan, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania and at University of the West Indies. They provide tuition fees, flights and a living allowance and are open to applicants from any Commonwealth country other than the host country.

Southern Cross Cultural Exchange

Goethe Institut Australien

offers a range of scholarships for a stay in Germany. They are intended for current and future teachers of German, as well as persons in key position in the education sector, and include language courses and a diverse seminar program at the Goethe-Institut in Germany. State Scholarships Foundation of Greece (I.K.Y.)​

Hellenic Government Scholarships Program offers two programs:a. Offers up to 50 scholarships to foreign nationals from countries worldwide in order to attend courses in Modern Greek  language and culture. (Based in Greece). 
b. Supports doctoral and postdoctoral research. 



Hong Kong

Japan Society for Promotion of Science

University of Tokyo

The Ministry of Education of the Sultanate of Oman offers a scholarship to Australian students seeking to undertake undergraduate coursework in Oman.
The scholarship includes full tuition fees, an annual return airfare to Oman, health insurance, and a living stipend of approximately AUD$500 per month.

Saudi Arabia

The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia offers scholarships every year to outstanding students from various countries of the world.

​A*STAR Research Attachment programme (ARAP)

ARAP is designed to facilitate collaboration between researchers in overseas universities and in A*STAR. Typically, a PhD student who remains matriculated at the overseas university, undertakes a 1-2 years of research work in an A*STAR research institute. 

​Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA)

​The SIPGA program provides a 2 - 6 month attachment experience in an A*STAR research institute for third or fourth year undergraduates or Masters students. The student works with a supervisor, usually as part of a larger project, in an A*STAR research institute. 

​ Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

​The SINGA programme is a partnership between A*STAR and three local universities, namely Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). It offers a full PhD scholarship to international students who wish to pursue a PhD education in Singapore.

offers financial support to young Australians who would like to further their education or career in the United Kingdom in their field of endeavour, education, business, sport, arts and culture and the professions.

United States

Stanford Humanities Centre
offers approximately twenty-five residential fellowships for the academic year (September - June) to Stanford and non-Stanford scholars at different career stages, giving them the opportunity to pursue their work in a supportive intellectual community.
